Reed and Syma met in 2017 while working as apprentices at the Santa Fe Opera.

After their summer in Santa Fe, Reed went back to Austin and Syma went back to New York for their last year of college. Reed made the trip out to New York so they could spend their first New Year's together.

Syma finally made it out to Austin to visit Reed for the first time in April of 2018 during her Spring Break. They had a very successful trip in Austin which included introducing Syma to Reed's family for the first time.

Syma made it back to Austin for the second time in April 2018 to attend Bryce & Sydney's wedding.

After spending their 2018 summer working at different summer stocks, Reed officially moved to New York in the fall of 2018. This marked the beginning of their adventures in the northeast together which included this fun trip to a corn maze outside of the city.

Reed and Syma took their first international trip together to Tulum, Mexico where they went snorkeling in the Dos Ojos cenote.

Syma and Reed took their second international trip together to Montreal, Canada for Thanksgiving of 2018.

Syma spent her first Christmas with the Neals in 2018 where she got to witness the making of the famous Neal Family Italian Sausage.
